The Injuries Predicament

Chilwell and Gusto added to injury list. Colwill who was supposed to be back for City suffered another set back.

We ever going to address this or is it going to be swept under the rug?
At what point do the medical team sign the players off and put them back in training. I am assuming if they break down "whilst undergoing rehabilitation" then that has to be on the medics.

If however they are "In partial training" and then suffer a set back or recurrence then surely that is down to the back room staff and the training regimes that they have in place.

Palmer is being assessed as well. We're f**ked if he's out for at least the Arsenal match, and knowing our injury record it will be for more than one match.

Palmer is ill supposedly. So a slightly different case. Nevertheless a massive loss if unavailable for the Arsenal game.

Chilwell played about 10 mins on Saturday and is injured again? I think we need to consider offloading him this summer sadly. You cannot make plans for a team with players that are continually on the injury list like this.

We can't do that because some genius thought it was a good idea to improve his contract last spring even though the entire team was sh*t.

Just go with the same 11 who started against Everton - barring injuries of course.

Edit - wrong thread 🤣

Our best back four for me would be Chilwell, Fofana, Colwill and James. All four are currently injured and Colwill is the only one I’m confident will be able to come back to full fitness. Really sad, and quite a challenge for the sporting directors going into the summer window

None of them are getting called up Sconnie
Agreed. There is no chance they get international call ups at this point. At best they will have a few minutes of first team action since returning from injury. Would be a wasted spot for any international squad.

Amazing how our injury predicament is completely glazed over by the media.

Imagine if it were Liverpool - Carragher would be banging on about it so much he wouldn't have any time to spit at kids.

Doesn't fit into their 1bn spent narrative.

I have zero hope of this improving.

Some are waiting for the season to end hoping the players come back fit for next season, but face facts, as soon as training starts again, the injuries will slowly start building up and by the time the season starts, the squad will already have about 5 major injuries.
