Is the Robinho one still there too?Due to my excellent investigative skills I have determined that Borini will be given a chance next year.
I come to this conclusion based on the fact that he is in the list of players you can choose to get on the back on next year's shirt![]()
I think that is why he won't stay, yes. I think it was mainly down to contract-length (the club wanted him to sign a one year extension) and not wages, and because he's refusing to sign he's been frozen out.Wasnt there something about him not accepting the contract offered to him? I seem to remember hearing his agent (I really wish they would f**k the f**k off) saying he wasnt impressed by the offer.
Its not easy to sell a young prospect (for a club like ours) if the other clubs know that the player is unwanted and is looking to be offloaded. As we saw in the case of Scott Sinclair and to see him perform for Swansea you wonder if that's the "transfer" of the season in all of England.I would be looking to give him 3 years or more, and if he's not going to make the grade, we could sell him somewhere...surely.
Yes, the article says we will get compen.Didn't think he was ever going to be good enough for us. And considering the position he plays, he was never really going to have a chance here. Only shame is we let him go on a free. Aren't we entitled to some sort of compensation(similar to Sturridge)?
