Forum Update

Mobile site looks really good. Only thing I don't see is a way to skip to a certain page of the thread.

Also it would be really nice if there was a refresh button at the end of a thread. On iOS safari the only way to refresh takes you back to the top of the page forcing you to scroll all the way down and find the spot where new posts begin.

Mod, there is a large search buttin hiding some things at the top of here. I could only just see the top of the icon to sign in. Had I not known it was there, I wouldn't have been any wiser as to how to sign in as all forums looked protected

 
not sure. I will see if I can print a screen shot into paint and send that as an attachment.

It could be me (most likely) or it could be that I don't see a sign -in button at all - need to click new Posts or some protected forum to get the sign in box - IE7 and proud!

 
I love the new design ... only problem that I still have is that quotes are difficult to read (at least on my screen, due to low contrast). And also that I cant edit my posts, and that "post has been edited" appears sometimes even if I didnt do it. (not that it is a big problem but still)

I did what you said, and it did not work for me. Same problem as before. You are correct, I am using IE.

 
Phil and Scott, are you guys using IE7 too?

 
Scotty update IE and the problem will go. IE7 is bloody old, and done a browser shot check on the site today and IE7 looks awful. Even if you update it IE8 the problem will go.

You should really update your browser everytime they release a new one, to keep it all running good and secure anyway.

Really, the site should be usable no matter what the browser, but IE7 is actually really old and it seems to be stuck behind now.

german-blue : The quote colour is on the to-do, and the edit thing sounds like you need to maybe clear cache and cookies.

 
discreet cough... will the quotes (top right) be restored eventually? Presumably so since the button has been left.

Also (more importantly) are you aware that the Donate button doesn't work either?

Is anyone on IE still getting problems?

moi; I have been in touch with the guy that coded us the quotes app, so will wait to hear. Donate for this version is still getting done, so might set something temporarily up until then, but yes, none of those two are working at the moment.

A week on, and still sorting out little bits, I only thought it was a little update!

 
No problems here, but I haven;'t tried going back to 3.2. I'll try it and let you know.
