Fulham v Chelsea (PL) Mon 2nd Oct 2023 20:00 GMT

Oh look another injury worry.

This is absolutely mental, I've never seen anything like it
I have, last season with a club called Chelsea, the season before with another club called Chelsea too. 3 seasons in a row with these injuries isn't normal. Something is not right with their training, it's always the same problems, muscle injuries.

Positives of the match:

Mudryk seems to be gaining confidence over the last three games, kudos to Poch for consistently playing him

Connor really had a good game, he proved me wrong today and I can see why Poch likes him

Broja looks like a far more finished article than Jackson, his ball control, positioning, movement and hold up play is exquisite, I hope he isn't injured

Palmer is so far looking like our best outfield signing this summer, don't think he's ever had a bad game in all the appearances he's made

Sanchez again a huge upgrade over Kepa

Special shoutouts to Enzo, Caicedo, COlwill and Silva
Exactly my thoughts..aswell.. if can stop getting freakin injuries this could be a serious team..

All started after the season we played 50+ games, its like someone created a virus that season and put it in the Chelsea training water

Nice match for some of the remaining Cobham labs, each of Gallagher, Colwill, Broja with an excellent performance.

It's truly unbelievable that we were awarded 4 yellow cards and Fulham only one. As for Fulham's booking, it was not even for Vinicius who clearly struck Silva intentionally. These referees are just rotten to the core.

At Craven Cottage, where the river winds,

A football saga of unique kinds.

Mudryk's swift dance, a Ukrainian's glee,

His first for Chelsea, by the Fulham sea.

Colwill stood strong, left back in the dance,

A defensive maestro, given a chance.

Gallagher, the captain, midfield's command,

Guiding the Blues, across the Fulham land.

In the heart of action, Cole Palmer weaves,

Attacking realms with tricks up his sleeves.

Broja, the striker, from injury's plight,

A triumphant return, scoring with might.

Fulham's hopes thwarted, two goals unfold,

In Craven Cottage, tales of victory told.

October winds whisper the Blues' sweet song,

A triumph at Fulham, where heroes belong.

What ? No negatives, surely we can find some ?

Was the performance and victory down to the midfield 3 finally gelling or was it picking the correct front 3? For me it’s all down to the new sponsor.  100% win ratio wearing it.

Important 3 points and solid performance, 2 goals in about a minute won the game, once 2 goals up we were comfortable with the ball and managed the game well. The work is starting to pay off, some nice passing from the back when being pressed, and players started to develop the combinations. Massive goal for both goal scorers, Mudryk is locking down that starting spot, and Brojas will challenge Jackson with that performance. Still not convinced with where Enzo plays, but got trust Poch with that, so see what happens in the next games. No real complains, if we could follow up with a win against Burnley, we'd be looking in good shape with those tough games ahead.

Maybe it's an injury per point system. So we get 3 points, therefore we get 3 injuries. Maybe we should aim for 0.
If that were the case we would've won the league and broken a record.

There's hope that Poch is coming around on this one. Today Enzo was the 8 and Gallagher the 10🥳

VAR is a joke, can't believe they let the Vinicius assault on Silva slide
