Fulham v Chelsea (PL) Mon 2nd Oct 2023 20:00 GMT

Can’t believe they bowed down to pool.. I am sure they will upturn the red too.. good luck getting a decision against them..

Relief. Very good performance too. So many candidates for MOTM. Colwill, Gallagher for me were the pick for me. However Caicedo was brilliant too. Broja was such a bonus. His pace and power added a different dimension. He will be useful to rotate with Jackson.

A long time coming and Mudryk scoring put a smile on every Chelsea fans. Delighted he has that monkey of his back now and hopefully onwards and upwards. Bring on Burnley!

Yes. Broja looks a real unit now and still seems to have his pace after the injury. He is not fully fit yet but on early evidence he could definitely give us another option up front. That would be a real bonus and take the weight off Jackson's shoulders.

Playing Broja and Jackson as a pair up front might be interesting as well !

Caicedo was so good. Really held the midfield together. Just hope he’s okay. Thought we let up second half and conceded a lot of possession. Mudryk and Broja going off seemed to put us on the back foot. Thought we defended well though. Cucurella didn’t do much wrong and Colwill played some nice balls out from the back. Another clean sheet from Sanchez and one very good save from close in. Need a win against Burnley then regroup over the international break. Hell of a run of games after that.

Noni should have been on for Palmer
I actually don't think he should have played at all for this game. Criticising the player public for a breach of club discipline (correctly) is then undermined if you put him on the pitch in the next game. For the time remaining he could have put any other player on and the message would have had more resonance

Hopefully the 3 players that picked up knocks/injuries are ok.

Good to see Mudryk get that goal, henis steadily improving.

What a difference having someone with vision and quality on the right makes in Palmer. Broja was immense, a proper leader of the line.

Cucurella spot on again. The Enzo and Caicedo pivot finally and they looked great too.

Top performance.

I wasn’t so starry eyed on Broja. Skied a good chance, otherwise was ok without really distinguishing g himself. Does have the strength and pace required

Ah great to look over a match day thread where 2 players are getting pelters for being rubbish or called clowns only for them to turn it around and the comments go quite.

Great job by both Broja and Mudryk coming back for uncomfortable starts to win us the game.
Was so funny to read but justified especially with Mudryk. He did not look like an 80m footballer before that goal. Giving the ball away from a pass way too short, kicking it out of play on the dribble and shooting over the bar. All 3 attacking fundamentals were really poorly executed at league 2 standard. Made up for it with the goal, although massive credit to Levi for that. Hope he can push on and make more game defining moments in the final third.

Cucurella is only available now because we supposedly made the mistake of playing him in the Cup against Wimbledon. In hindight that now looks like a great decision as he has so far grabbed the opportunity at Left Back. Will be interesting to see what Poch does, once Gusto is available again. With Chilwell out I wonder if a resurgent Cucurella will move to LB?

Good solid win. Midfield looked confident and controlled.

Hopefully Broga and Mudryk will both grow in confidence after their respective goals last night.

Nice to read a match thread that is much happier and positive after last nights win.

Blue is the colour.
