This is redemption time for Joe. Its time to make up for all that wastefulness. That goal on the final day a few years ago would do nicely

United's sixth yellow. Sir ALex is gonna lose it :D

United are definitely tired. If we get possession and then come at them fast they seem to be losing themselves.

Im just worried everytime we give it back becuause it goes to Ronaldo or Fletcher out wide and theyre giving us the same thing

Oh my lord. Rio getting sent off for a foul on Drogba. Final Whistle? Whats going on?

Relieved as hell we didn't lose but make no mistake that is two points dropped as we were vastly superior today for all but the first 25 minutes and with a bit more quality up front (in particular from Anelka and Joe who were both shocking today) that would have been a good home win.

That was a blatent second yellow for ferdinand and there was about 15 second left for us to take the freee kick yet because of Man yoo's reaction he takes the safe option and ends the game.

I'm not sure what to make of all that. For a long time I thought we'd never score, especially with Joe Cole and especially Anelka missing sitters .. it's not fair to say that Kalou's equaliser rescued a point because we could have so easily gone on to win it. And then right at the end, Ferdinand could have been sent off, and we could have had a free kick on the edge of the area, except that Riley decides he's had enough and chooses to blow his whistle?

Ok so it could have been worse, but they are obviously nowhere near top form, and so it has to be said that a single point is disappointing.

Probably a just result, but we had the better chances to pull it out in the end. Joe Cole had a nightmare of a game, and Anelka was not far behind him.

I just love Bosingwa, though. Pure class.

What happened to my avatar?

More quality needed up front. Anelka can have no complaints when he is replaced up front when Drogba is fully fit.

Better team by far , yes should have won, missed chances and a lot of our balls into their box were poor. After the bad start we had i'd have taken this result but we played them off the pitch today and we should be celebrating 3 points.

we totally battered utd after the first 15, and i think decos late withdrawl gave us a lot of problems early on. if anelka didnt have a hole in his legs we would have won that. reilly was utter sh*te, he blew for every sinngle little thing, meaning we struggled to get any kind of rhythm going. he really is a pathetic ref.

Ruddy hell, I'm worn out, that game should've carried a Government Health Warning.

Happy with the draw, not happy with the performance.

anelka should have scored though, can't beleieve that. but im happily taking the draw-well im not happy with the way we played but man u should have won that. Boswinga was great though and ashely had some good tackles too. but i think someone said it before, it's the big teams we struggle against

Poor result.

We were by far the better team, and should have equalised long before Kalou rescued us, if Joe and Anelka hadn't been so poor in front goal.

Two points missed for sure, and we could have pretty much ended their title challenge today.

Ref was awful and bottled it big time with that foul by Rio. There were 15 secs left and that was free kick. Somehow I think this will end up being swept under the carpet.

I do think we played well considering the injuries, and credit to Alex in particular for a very solid game (and a GREAT block), but we didn't convert the chances our build up play deserved, and that was always going to be our problem given how lightweight we are up front.

Cech- looked a little dodgy and his clearance kicks were suspect

Bosingwa- great player, great going forward and defending

Terry- Poor game, looked a bit lost at times

Alex- great back up, loved the commitment

Ashley- Another great performance

Mikel- I said that he and Kalou would have break out seasons, and he just gets better

Lampard- set pieces back to being poor, some good runs and visionary passes that just never came off, average to slightly above

Ballack- IN at the last minute, but still showed some great commitment

Cole- Very poor, should have given us an early lead, and then should have got one later

Malouda- I like him, but poor game. I really think he's not a winger, but his crosses and runs into the box were decent

Anelka- terrible, but looked good once Drogba came on. However, some of the shots he took, and the sitter he missed!!!

Drogba- Freed up Anelka, but still looks like he doesn't want to be here

Kalou- Said he'd ahve a break out year, and I don't understand why he's still on the bench most the time. He should be used ahead of Malouda. Took his header really well, and always looks like he is up for playing.

Summation, we should have won, but final balls and attacking options were sub par

Disagree about Riley. Could he have called a penalty against Van de Saar? Perhaps, but I think a no-call was the correct call.

The "ending" was a bit weird, but we got the bulk of the calls, and Riley was not afraid to dish out the yellows to those whining Mancs, like Shrek and Evra.
