:woohoo: Now the update for the bandwagon I mean Valerie (far-away fan!)

Queensland drew with Adelaide United (same colours as Liverpool mind you) despite completely dominating them. Queensland I believe had 22 shots to Adelaide's 8, completely carved them up through the centre and the wings but couldn't get anything on target. Adelaide striker Shenquing Qu was sent off for headbutting.

Before the match, the two captains had to read a statement on Fair Play. Adelaide captain Ross Aloisi was booked a few minutes later for a late tackle

Queensland's draw means Adelaide drop points and Sydney jump into third place! Now all we need is Melbourne to lose to Perth...
The Roar are invincible this season

Top of the league, we're 'avin' a laugh ::Head up's::

Bah humbug! I'm a master of adaptation:

Almost top of the league, we're 'avin' a laugh!

::Get Coat::

Melbourne Victory 4-1 Queensland.

Undone by a dodgy penalty when they were getting back into the game. All four goals came as a result of Melbourne making good use of Queensland's 3-5-2 formation...Bleiberg's gotta take some of the blame for this loss.

If we win by 5 goals Valerie youse are third....

Poor Valerie, typical Queensland bandwagoners, only sing when they're winning!

Queensland come to the home of mighty Sydney for an inevitable mauling, but I'll try and take some pictures and post them up Valerie.

Ok so Sydney scraped a draw with Queensland  and lost 3-1 to our local rivals, Central Coast Mariners.

BUTCHER OUT.

:) :( :( :(

This one f-ing hurts- if Chelsea lost to Pompey I might've broken something!

Loss, at home, to Melbourne. Still spewing.

Terry: Zola too old

November 3, 2006

SYDNEY FC coach Terry Butcher doesn't want Gianfranco Zola - he wants Benito Carbone back and is hoping to have his favourite Italian available for next week's home match against New Zealand Knights.

"I was asked [three or four weeks ago] by someone who said they were Zola's representative if I would be interested, and I said no," Butcher said.

"He's 40 years old and he hasn't played for two years. I don't see how he could be an improvement on Benito Carbone.

"Beni is keen to come back, and we'd love to have him back and we're talking at the moment. Having him back here will give the whole club a lift. That's my target, not Zola. To be honest, he's not even on my radar."

:?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

I bet if Zola was still with us he'd get more playing time than SWP

8) ID LOVE TO HAVE GOD BACK AT THE BRIDGE!!!

ZOOOOLLLLLAAAAAAAAA!!! Z-O-L-A ZOOOOLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

Of course on a personal level as a Chelsea fan, I'd love Zola. However it's absurd to expect him to come out of retirement, and he hasn't played professionally in 18 months. Too much of an ask for him.

Franco could do more with a ball in 15 seconds than most players dream of in a career.

Now I am sure that DC United can kick Sydney's arse. We will win again on Sunday, and make it to the finals. Cannot wait.

Keep dreaming son.

Not that i'm confident.

A bad result but a good performance- Newcastle 1-1 Sydney. A draw against the form team, for the sixth time this season we have let a early lead slip  our fitness is appalling.

We are down to 13 players in our squad- leaving us with just two subs for this match, including substitute goalkeeper Justin Pasfield who was spotted wearing an outfielder's kit!

Our players are out through a combination of injury and suspension, and we've filled our quota of short-term signings to cover injuries. To make matters worse, one such signing Matthew "The Pirate" Bingley was sent off in today's game, meaning a one-match suspension, meaning that next week we will mostly like have only two subs on the bench again

Oh I wasn't looking for your sympathy, if anything the shoe should be on the foot- New Zealand 1-0 Queensland, outplayed by the bottom team in the comp

Ah, it takes so little to make you happy

Losing to a lesser team can happen to any top team
