When I said I wanted him to play more I meant on the wing, never thought he would be able to contribute like this at striker.

I'll have to give credit to Maresca for spotting that but will almost instantly have to take it back as he's still persisted with Jackson all this time instead.

Him persisting with Nkunku is actually worse when George could have benefitted from that game time.

 
I’m really happy for the lad, I can remember him being frustrated about not scoring and that clearly showed in his games in Europe.

And just like that, he has 2 goals now. Well done Tyrique 👍

How many times have I told @Ukraine Bolt that it doesn't matter who we play up front instead of Jackson. But he kept asking "but who would you play....who would you play?...." over and over again, and I kept saying, it doesn't matter. I really doesn't!

And lo and behold, Jackson comes off after another disaster class - and a young winger with about 7 mins experience equalises almost immediately.

It's funny what having a footballer on the field in place of the 💩🫏 can do for the team.

...oh. and all those "multiple games"? Lets not forget the the gernal consenus on here is that the only good games he has had was West Ham, plus 15 mins against Leicester and 10 mins against Newcastle...lets not try and rewrite history....

Put him up top for the rest of the season. He’s better than the other pair of melts we have as options. Worst he can do is perform at Jackson’s level, best he can do is increase his value in the shop window.
