Exactly the same as me.Honestly, I bought the Fabregas shirt mostly to piss off Arsenal fans. Was worth every penny imo, but I doubt Ill ever wear it to a game. Maybe Maybe Arsenal away. The only other shirts I have with name printed on is from Zola, Lampard and Terry.
Its all down to what people want, what they like.As grown men (which i presume you are). How do you feel If you see an eight year old kid with a replica kit with his bestis and most favourite player in the whole wide world's name on his back. And then you are wearing the same with one or all of the following, receding hair, a beer gut, hairy arms while your standing outside the pub smoking. Don't you feel a little bit well a bit pathetic. The last Chelsea top i bought was the away kit in 1981 when i was 15. Then the casuals scene came in and well nobody wore replica tops. I just can't understand why anyone who of course is free to spend there money how they want thinks it's fine to spend £50 for something that should be worn by kids. Oh please tell me you don't wear your top if you go on holiday that's just unforgivable.
Yeah... they are really really expensiveHaven't bought a shirt for a few years and haven't really bothered looking at them until this season when I discovered it's £55 for a short sleeved shirt with no name on it - absolute scandal!
At last some reality, I presume this is the under 10 section? Guys please please replica shirts! tell me do you really stand in the mirror before you go to a match and think you look good, before bouncing out the door and up to the station on match day?, When my two sons started going a few years ago nothing prouder than putting them in their kit and going to the ground, but now at 20 and nearly 18 they've grown out of that stage now and want to wear all the casual retro gear with maybe a pin badge. How times have changed, there was once a time when going to football you had to look good as well!!! saying that though, I do wear face paint and a funny blue wig to games!!!! only joking. fair play to you boys if you do want to wear replica shirts to games, everyone to there own, just a bit to0 american football/ baseball, disney for me.As grown men (which i presume you are). He wasn't calling you a casual fan, he was referring to the "casual" fashion of the early 80's (?) as being the time he dropped wearing the kit and started looking cool going to games. Its all down to what people want, what they like.
Once I could afford I started buying the shirts to support the club in even the smallest way, especially as i cant go to so many games.
I'd wear my shirt anywhere really, dont need you who slags off other fans as "casuals" opinion to change anything I think or feel.
Yeah... they are really really expensive
How about a casual stroll to Specsavers?.Its all down to what people want, what they like.

Indeed.Don't you just love when others aggressively assert their opinions on trivial sh*t.
There is nothing wrong with wearing a football shirt. I haven't bought a shirt in years because i find them uncomfortable but there is nothing wrong with wearing a Chelsea shirt to football matches, i don't see why it as pathetic in any way. As long as you don't go full kit then i don't see what the issue is. And we don't all have a beer gut, receding hair and smokeAs grown men (which i presume you are). I took the meaning of the term "casuals" abit different. But often people are called casuals too. granted I did not see the word "fashion" and will retract that bit.How about a casual stroll to Specsavers?.
Sorry mate but i can't make head or tail of that. In the early 80s the thing to wear to football was designer gear and so was given theI took the meaning of the term "casuals" abit different. However I still dont see the problem with wearing a replica shirt.
