Not much said after his next two glaring missesWonderful finish by Zaha to put Palace ahead at Anfield.
How many seasons does Zaha have to outperform our wingers before people here stop pretending he isn't a massive upgrade on what we have?
No one scores every chance but the difference between him and the rest of our frontline is he actually scores some of them. Not much said after his next two glaring misses
Oh its you that keeps moving my pole.Wouldn't touch Zaha with @coco's barge pole. Far too inconsistent.
Yes he is better than Pulisic and Ziyech but not by enough that it's worth throwing money at Palace. He would just end up being another player we get frustrated about.
He plays for a counter attacking team, he wouldn't be able to play like that for us. He would be expected to pick out passes, crosses and dribble through tight spaces. I haven't seen much of that in his game for Palace. No one scores every chance but the difference between him and the rest of our frontline is he actually scores some of them.
Not his best performance today but we all know Zaha is going to score double figures in the league again this season wherever he plays while we're going to have to try convincing ourselves Pulisic and Ziyech have turned the corner when they score their 3rd goals of the season in March if we don't bring in improvements.
At £25m due to his contract situation Zaha is worth a punt.
Not only that he hasn't got any brains worth sh*t. Countless of times yesterday with their backs against the wall he had excellent opportunities to start a counter attack but kept been unnecessarily clumsy and holding unto the ball untill he was disposessed of the ball. We need players that can dribble, score goals but also intelligent enough to play in a team, and with the team. Zaha is clearly not the personHe plays for a counter attacking team, he wouldn't be able to play like that for us. He would be expected to pick out passes, crosses and dribble through tight spaces. Or oissibly the opposite if he is only used to playing in a side built around him and not one that he has to also run the hard yards in and work for the team. He has already tried and failed once in a better side. This really is a no brainier for me, a much better player than Richarlison, scored 3 goals already this season, in a better team than Palace I think he’ll thrive…
The hope is that he's willing to accept a fairly modest wage because he's so desperate to prove himself at the absolute top of the game and play for an elite club.Or oissibly the opposite if he is only used to playing in a side built around him and not one that he has to also run the hard yards in and work for the team. That said he certainly looks better than a number of our players although the circumstances are different. If we lost a player from a similar role and we ended up relatively cost neutral then I'd say let's go for it. Not sure what his wage demands would be compared to Barkley, Ziyech, CHO or Pulisic.
Are we better than Palace just now?...This really is a no brainier for me, a much better player than Richarlison, scored 3 goals already this season, in a better team than Palace I think he’ll thrive…
Well granted today, because that was Yoonited-esque in sh*te footballAre we better than Palace just now?...
