Won't let me post in match day travel section..

As the above reads, I cannot post in the match day section so thought this was the next best place. Stoke away on 27th in the league cup I have a slight problem on attending the game. Due to having priorities the following day I need to get from Stoke to Kent via London ASAP.. But with the game being a late kick off I might struggle for time. I know there is the option of Chelsea subsidised travel but using my dads membership I was planning on taking a mate of mine up to the game, but as far as Thomas Cook notified me that only the membership holder would be allowed to board the coach (which knocked that on the head)... Also, national rail services after the game stop at Birmingham and don't resume till 5 am.. So that's a no! Over night stay doesn't help either with me needing to be back by Wednesday @ 8am.. Only other suggestion is driving there? But is it a sh*t drive or not? (If anyone knows). If anyone can come up with suggestions that can get me from A to B and return early hours Wednesday morning to London with my mate (who is using a spare membership of mine) could they please let us know!
