Conte the perfect tonic for the Blues

Hi all fellow Pensioners, very apt name for older buggers like me. I am new to site but thought it was  about time I joined having been a fanatical Blue supporting Chelsea through thick and thin for over 40 years.In fact it has been so long, younger fans reading this will not believe 2 of us used to hop over the turnstiles back in the seventies for a combined total of 70p. I feel sorry for youngsters not able to share these great times in these modern days.As it's getting late now and old timers like me should be getting ready to throw my slippers off and get to bed,but not before I say a quick mention to Abramovic and the board for pulling off yet another masterstroke by signing Conte. José will always be a legend and others have a lot to prove to achieve his greatness for Chelsea and it hurts me seeing him with the "Devil" (Red) on his shoulder.However, José had to go with they way we were sliding down the table and I reckon we could well have ended up relegated which would have been as big a shock as Leicester winning the title!Which of course they did! Back to Conte,hopefully I am not speaking too soon and although it was only Burnley that we last played, but I thought that was one of our best,most exciting performances since we were thrashing everybody with Carlo at the helm before going on to win yet another Chelsea title! It is also lovely and refreshing to see a genuinely nice man which he seems instead of a motor mouth (sorry José,it was enjoyable at the time) but his undeniable passion for the game and Chelsea is there for all of us to be seen!

I predict he will become the next Chelsea legend, even at these early stages you can see signs with players all playing out of their skins and with smiles on their faces you will notice!

I will end for now by saying if we can play consistently like that and I don't see any reason why not as we are an improving team.I think we are already the team to beat if others want to win the title.3 of our youngsters also scored for England under 23's and players on loan like Tammy are knocking the goals in.

Let's hope the silly international break has not distrupted the Blue machine.
