well, i am in my 50's and first went to an FA CUp game in the late 60's with my Grandfather and saw Bobby Tambling score a brace....and that was  me hooked although my father ( a Fulham man) tried to get me to change

Interesting so your grandfather supported Chelsea yet his son supported Fulham and now the grandson supports Chelsea.

I'm in my early 50's and my first match Dixon was the striker, I started relatively late at 19, I got headaches from playing football and some friends at work mentioned Chelsea and the rest is history.
