Just saw this match and was wondering what is Sven Goran Ericsson thinking?

Why does he keep both of his star players, Bianchi and Giovanni, on the bench until the end of every match?

Bigger clubs fought over these two players, just so City could now keep them on the bench.

Well it could be a number of things.........

He might think they aren't are good as he thought they were, and/or......

He might think they need longer to settle in, and/or..........

He might be prefering to start defensive but have more attacking options on the bench, and/or.........

He he might like to use them as super subs to come on and change games, and/or

Any number of other reasons
