I would say in the mid 80's, the BBC made a 2-3 part drama on a football fan who by an accident or illness became wheelchair bound. It focused on his struggles to adapt. He was a massive Chelsea fan. I don't remember too much, but I do remember it was shot in and around Stamford Bridge and clips of our matches were shown.

I remember it too. I'm pretty sure this was it as I remember it being a TV movie rather than mini-series.
