[The old shedboy]

Just a shorty....lots of you were there.....Norwich in the fog......I was an apprentice engineer....on that day bunked off from tottenham tech to head for norwich .....But ,in the early afternoon had been to a do....this short do meant i was dressed as my hero of the time ZIGGY STARDUST...my hair was spiked and i had some serious eye makeup.....then to car..then to norwich....stupidly not even worrying about my makeup and furry collar etc......50 50 we were in the Barclay end.........i have been sorted physicaly at matches b4...but the abuse i got from the anglians as well as some of our own was a bigger kick in as id ever had and the embarassment stayed with me for quite a while

I used to have a Bowie haircat back in 74ish.  Looked a right 'Erbert I'm sure!  My dad, ex WW2 veteran, would look at me and laugh!  But he'd still take me to football on Saturdays!
