I'm from Belfast and went to see the Wolves game last year. A 3-0 win. I reckon Northern Irelanders are good luck charms!

Was casting my mind back to when Man Utd finished bottom of their Champions League group and was wondering how well they were getting on in the Premiership at that time. As you can see from below, they were only 2 points better off than us currently and they ended up bottom of their group and out of Europe. They ended up finishing second that year behind us and 2 years later they were on their way to a Premiership and Champions League double. http://www.statto.co...able/2005-11-26 During this time they didn't make any huge signings (Van Der Sar, Vidic, Rooney, Evra, Ronaldo were all in the team) and they ended up getting rid of big players like Keane and Rudd Van Nistelrooy. Is this something we need to try and emulate in order to build a team? Or am I clutching at straws :)
