  1. I think the one thing we never lack is team spirit and I think although we didn't play amazing, we defended quite well and were compact. When a few of our new signings have settled in I would expect a better performance. I will expect Chelsea to play alot better next time. Eto'o wasn't sharp (although he was dangerous) he will be a quality signing when he is fit. I was very impressed with Barry and McCarthy and they did their jobs to perfection. If you ever want to do this kind of question thing, feel free to visit www.theevertonforum.com for some answers. Loz came on last year and posted some really good stuff. The Shed End on the whole seems to have some good posters and not the normal dicks that you can get on footy forums (We have a few ourselves) Good luck for the season. Please spank the Red sh*te for us!
  2. I'll be honest mate, I don't really know what a butt whooping is? Is that some kind of Americanism txt spk type lingo? If you are asking whether Everton fans expect to get beat, then yes, we probably do. Mainly because we are still coming to terms with the new system and don't really have a decent striker. If all our players turn up, then you never know. We can match any team on our day. I still think Chelsea will win the league though.
  3. Updated that. My fault. Walker loaded the story, but nothing appeared when posted. So I loaded it again at the weekend and must have missed the initial blurb. I have also added a link to the "Who is the better team" story that I loaded today! - So hopefully you will get some linksback!
  4. Will get it sorted now. There was a problem loading the story, so the initial one got messed up!
  5. I think we had 2 stand out players. I don't think we are a 2 man team. We do have attacking threats for the first time in a long time. Mirallas, Deulofeu and Barkley can all change the game. We don't have loads of big names, but we do have an abundance of players that fit well within a system. Whether that is the Martinez system is another story though.
  6. Thanks for the answer chaps, and thanks for a couple of you to pop over to the forum and say hello. A few of ours moaning that you lot are over confident, BUT i think you have every right to be. As a I said on our site, you have attacking options in abundance and the Mourinho factor will put you on a high. We may cause an upset, depends on which of our team turns up. We have a couple of game changing players. We just don't have a striker that can score at the moment (Until Lukaku comes in). Here is a link to a story i've just done on our news site: http://myevertonnews.com/who-is-the-better-team-everton-v-chelsea/ Here is a link directly to the forum thread: http://www.theevertonforum.co.uk/everton-forum/8294-talking-opposition-chelsea.html Here is a link to the complete article on the news site: http://myevertonnews.com/talking-to-the-opposition-chelsea-fans-2/ Cheers Snoop
