How's its going everyone, I'm Craig. I've came here to talk about two specific players... Mata and Willian. Mata First of all, I'm absolutely gutted with the news about Mata possibly leaving. Its absolutely sickening because we're talking about the possibility of our BEST player leaving the club. 59 assists - 119 games... you won't find another player in Europe who can come to CLOSE, to matching Mata's statistic's in terms of creativity. The man is absolutely world class.. and It just doesn't make sense to me why we want to force him out of the club. For the last two seasons, that man has worked so hard for the club its unreal. He carried us through games when he was knackered (due the ridiculous game schedule we had) and didn't complain once. We've watched him grow from an underrated winger from Valencia, into arguably the best playmaker in the world. The assists speak for themselves but as we all witnessed last season, his goal scoring ability has dramatically improved as well. He sets up goals and he scores them... what more could you possibly want from an attacking midfielder? Yet rumours strongly suggest mourinho doesn't want him in his plans. Listen, I was absolutely delighted when I found out mourinho has come back to us for his second term as manager (like every other Chelsea supporter was) but now that I'm seeing him "apparently" trying to force out our best player.. my feelings towards Jose are drastically changing. I saw what he done with Casillas at Madrid, and now it looks to me like his doing something very similar with Mata. Mourinho said when he come to back to us in the summer, that he wants the best for the club and the fans... if we do get rid of Mata then Jose is massively contradicting himself. Doing the best for the club by getting rid of our best player? okay. And just when I thought it couldn't get any worse with all the publicity of him leaving, I've heard mourinho is wiling to sell him to our major rivals united in exchange for Rooney!! Ha, what a kick in the teeth that would be. Mata leaving the club would be painful enough, but if he was sold to united ... I would turn on mourinho big time for as long as he was manager. I would rather have Mata over Mourinho, Rooney and Willian put together mate. Anyway, before I end the Mata topic... I've made it pretty clear I'd be devastated if we sell Mata, but most importantly I'd be massively disappointed in mourinho. I want us to win the league this season and if I could of put my faith in any manager to win the prem for the 4th time with us, it would be mourinho. After 3 long years I do believe we're going to do it this year, so why has mourinho got to spoil himself for? Like someone else said in this forum, I just want the 2nd of September to come next week and HOPEFULLY we still have our talisman Johnny Kills at the bridge. Willian Okay, I've discussed my disappointment with the rumours over Mata... but I'm just going to say it now. What a pathetic and pointless buy Willain is. Why are we buying another attacking midfielder when we already got 4-5 talented midfielders in the same position? Absolutely pointless. Nobody wanted him here anyway, we don't want or need him . I'm quite happy with Mata, Hazard, De Bruyne, Oscar and Moses/Schurrle as our attacking midfielders. What we do need however, is a clinical striker who scores goals on a consistent basis (Ba and Torres are waste of time, we need another decent striker to play with Lukaku). Compare us to our two title rivals city and united.... we have the best attacking midfielders out the three, but the reason they edged us last year us because there better equipped upfront. United have the best striker in the league (rvp) and should anything happen to him they have Hernandez to fall back on. Same with city, they have aguero, dzeko, jovetic and aguero. All we need to do is keep mata and buy a decent striker, and we'll win the league mate.. simple as that. The creativity is there, we just need the last piece of the puzzle and that's one more striker. I hope mourinho brings lukaku through this season of course, but we need more than one decent striker... One more will do. And as for Willian pshhh if his been brought to replace mata, i will be massively massively disappointed with our club. I wish we kept ancelotti or di matteo as manager I do. Anyway, I hope we smash united tonight. 3 points clear of the two Manchester boys would be a dream start for us. cmon the chels ktbffh
