I know Schurrle hasn't had much of a chance, but surely Reus will almost any day get a start over him?

We need it to happen, otherwise all these good for nothing players we have will just be wasting squad space that could easily be given to youth players

I think a swap deal with Reus swapping for Schurrle would be brilliant. Practically the same age, and its almost universal knowledge that Reus is the better player. Also what are your guys opinions on us making more swap deals like this (if it does goes through) but instead of offering 1 player for 1 player in return, we possibly offer 2 players for 1 player in return? I think we have TOO many players out on loan that just won't make it to our first team, and offering plenty of them in swap deals for better players will be the best way to go forward, and also gives us a chance to promote more youth teams players. Say for example with the Reus deal, It would be beneficial to us if say we swapped both Schurrle AND Salah for Reus, because it means we are strengthening our squad quality while getting rid of players we don't need and lowering the wage bill. While at the same time we could give players like Solanke and Baker more games. more deals I thought of like this are: Ramires+Mikel+Van Ginkel for Pogba Marin+Torres+Kakuta for Destro Like would you think these are good deals? Because I think it would be perfect, getting rid of players that won't get into our first team for quality players like those mentioned. I think it's silly to have this many players out on loan, because a lot of them won't even make it to our already quite young first team
