Guys the auction has started now!!! 863 Squadron Thurston The ATC is a non-profit making charity based organisation and therefore solely relies on fund raising for support. Through funding, the activities provided for cadets are wide and varied including: camping, adventure training – rock climbing, abseiling, high-level hill walking, mountain biking, canoeing, high rope work, sailing, gliding, flying, shooting, Duke of Edinburgh, sport, playing in a band etc. The ATC is run by fully qualified volunteer staffs who take every opportunity to build the strengths and improve the confidence of these young adults. The cadets will eventually leave as young adults and will have an invaluable set of experiences and strong personal ethics with them which can be put to good use at university or in whatever career they choose. Many go on to have a successful career in the Royal Air Force.
