Hi all - Loz has OK'd me putting up this post in search of some vintage Chelsea memorabilia pics... If you have a collection of this kind of stuff or know anyone who does, pls do let us know. Course, contributors will get free books, and we'll be giving a few away as comp prizes here when it comes out later this year.... The book is part of the ‘Got, Not Got’/’Lost World’ nostalgia series which have so far garnered a good response from critics and fans alike. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Got-Not-Football-Treasures-Pleasures/dp/1908051140 http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Lost-World-Football-Writers/dp/1909178667/ref=pd_cp_b_0 We already have lots of memorabilia and are very strong on the kind of general items that many fans and collectors own/remember, eg cards, stickers, programmes, petrol freebies, fanzines, league ladders, kit, as well as some ace CFC-specific stuff – I’m very proud of my groovy ‘Travel Away the Chelsea Way’ car window sticker, ‘Blue is the Colour’ 45 and sexy LP - but we’re on the lookout for more pics of items that only Chelsea fans would have had, eg badges, scarves, pennants, scrapbooks, clumps of Stamford Bridge mud, pics taken from the terraces, and so on. Our window of nostalgia is roughly mid-60s to the start of the prem. Here's hoping you might know someone with a cupboard or small CFC shrine packed with Peter Osgood denim jacket patches!
