I don’t get to many games now but when I do I’m always a little disappointed with the quality of our songs. We have such a great fan base but compared to some other clubs our songs aren’t great. Think of Leeds ‘marching on together’ Liverpool ‘fields of anfield road’ or even palace with their song that sticks in yr head for hours. I know that other clubs have written songs for players and handed it out before games, has anyone ever given thought to this? I remember Costa’s first match away at burnley and two lads singing to the tune of you are my sunshine ‘ we bought a monster, Diego Costa, he’ll score a Hatrick, at white hart lane’ ( can’t remember the rest) . It was good, but we settled for ‘Diego Diego Diego’. Id love to sing/hear a great some for Timo Werner but I fear all we will get it ‘Timo, Timo,Timo’.

Considering what we paid for Chilwell I think Dorigo would be up there in the £50 m plus bracket.

Great side for the time. Dixon was past his best by then but still my hero. Erland Johnson was a monster of a c/half.

Evening all. New member post. CFC supporter since the 80’s and spent my teenage years standing in the shed during the nineties. First trip to wembley was for the zenith data systems cup final to witness a screamer from Tony Dorigo. Live in the NW now and rarely get to games except the odd one up here. Looking forward to a good season under Frankie.
