Super Franky Lampard.
Yeah, well, at least we can speak up now. I'm sure it wasn't the same 1 or 2 hundred years ago. Some countries still don't allow women to speak up and punish them for it. It goes both ways, too, as a lot of men are positively evil.

Super Franky Lampard.
:D I seriously doubt that.

Super Franky Lampard.
No, I didn't. I admitted what I think might not be true a few posts back. Also, it should be 'her' instead of 'his', thank you. :o

Super Franky Lampard.
first thing youve said on this thread ive agreed with...... :D Thank you. :o Will he go bollocks every year. so the exact opposite of what you were saying << I don't understand what you mean by this. No, it's not possible but if you started to think its boring then there's no need to continue reading. You mean your light, don't you? :D I have posted a few times about what he did in the summer so I won't go into it again. So trying to respond sensibly is looking for attention? Because I have different opinions than the rest here is looking for attention? And here I thought one of the reasons there are message boards are so people can debate their opinions sensibly. Besides, if I were looking for attention I would hardly post like this, I'd just post insults instead.

And I pointed out, he can get contract extensions therefore there's no need to do what he did in the summer. But the others are acting like my opinions can't be true at all and dismissing it as bollocks. And quite frankly, if you think it's boring, then don't f**cking read it. Easy.

Super Franky Lampard.
What on earth are you on about? We were talking about the way he got his contract, not about what he can do. If you look back a few posts, you'll see I said I'm not ignoring what he can do and continues to do. I don't like to resort to insults in my posts, however, I can't let that one slide. I feel the same way about you. And I don't need others to back me up.

Super Franky Lampard.
Oh, yeah, getting a 5-year long contract the way Frank did is the same as getting a good 5 years with contract extensions. Thank you for pointing out there's no difference between them at all.

Unless you were involved then you know sweet f all... and you're dismissing the whole "Frank held the club to ransom" as sh*t like you know what happen. It might not be true but it's the only explanation I can make for what he did for just another year longer deal. With all due respect to your opinion, I disagree. It is unrealistic for a 30 year old to be on a 5-year long contract. So he wants to finish his career with us, there's contract extensions. Or he might not want those cause he knows he'll get lower wage if he doesn't sign a 5-year deal considering his age. Yes, the club and fans showed him a lot of support which is why I don't like what he did just because he wants a year longer on his contract. Like I said, he can sign contract extensions if he wants to finish his career with us. I don't think a player can love a club and be on a big payroll at the same time. He would choose the money before he choose us, which is one of the reason why players moved clubs. I'm not naive enough to believe otherwise. Also, JT is a different person than Lamps. Even so, I really doubt he'd stay with us had Roman not came. The physical, yes, but there are coaching, managerial, etc. jobs for after they retired. A footballing career isn't as short-lived as it seems so I don't think that reason holds much weight.

Super Franky Lampard.
Yes, he does but he wasn't stalling because of that. He was stalling because he wanted a 5-year deal and the club didn't want to give it to him considering his age. I still wish they hadn't so it would put a stop to other players thinking they could demand unrealistic deals from us. I don't think a player with the wage he's earning truly loves the club. He's in it for the money.

Super Franky Lampard.
And it's ABSOLUTE that players don't get involved in what their agents do? No, but I'd take the riches he has considering my own as I get a lot of crap with it, too.
-
Super Franky Lampard.
So he takes a lot of crap, with the kind of money he has and is getting, I'd take a lot more (bar rape). You say it's bollocks based on nothing but speculation, surely his agent can't do whatever he wants without Lamps approval? Edit: if I'm on a wind-up, I wouldn't try to post long posts. I'd just post 'he's a greedy fat bas-tard' or something like that.
-
Super Franky Lampard.
Yeah, well, in your opinion it's only slightly, not in mine. A legend should never appear greedy the way Lamps did. If, in the future, Petr Cech or anyone else do what Lamps did in the summer, I won't regard him as legend. And Cech is one of my fav players.

Holding the club to ransom is demanding more when he was offered a very good deal for any 30-year old. Yes, that's how it normally goes. Except Frank stalled and stalled and stalled. You'd think with all the love statements and badge kissing/thumping he wouldn't do that and yet he did. JT's contract negotiation certainly wasn't as long or difficult and he didn't throw a hissy fit. No player should ever hold more power than the club, like the saying goes; no player is bigger than the club. And no player is irreplacable, no matter how great he is when he left. I didn't say I'm ignoring what he has done and continues to do for the club, but a legend would never do what Frank seemingly did in the summer. I hardly think playing for us is a life-long dream for Lamps, too. He's in it for the money, anyone who say or think otherwise is deluding him/herself. In hindsight, it's disappointing the club shot themselves in the foot by offering Ballack and Sheva the contracts they got. They should've known Lamps and the others would demand similar ones. The lack of backbone the club showed Lamps is disappointing, too. If they had shown Lamps the door, at least it would most likely put a stop to other players thinking they can demand unrealistic deals from us. And why should I keep my hands off Frank? Is he ABOVE criticism here?

Super Franky Lampard.
Did Maka hold the club to ransom?
-
Super Franky Lampard.
Yeah, there is his agent. But I'm pretty sure his agent won't do anything that Frank doesn't approve in the first place. A legendary status shouldn't be EASY to get, so no I'm not being harsh.
