Leeds were great, much like Reading yesterday, but obviously winning. I follow both Chels and Leeds. (Weird hybrid I know and my mates don't let me forget it.!)

I think Ballack is brilliant, I don't agree with the point that he's slow, either- he can just read the game and close players down at short distance. His ability to read the game is very good, and to control tempo. He very often makes a pass on the first touch- making play available from deep positions to change the flow of movement. I think he's been vital this season. Granted, he doesn't score as many goals as he did for Bayern, but hasn't he reverted to a more defensive role? As I recall, (though not sure! ) at Bayern he was central or attacking midfielder and also plays more in the middle for Germany, hence an impressive scoring rate with them. I believe that he's perhaps the most versatile midfielder we have, able to cover a lot of positions. Sorry if I sound as though i'm blowing smoke up his butt. :P
