I'm from the Central Coast (north of Sydney) and lucky enough to live within stumbling distance to the fabulous Mariners stadium. Yea I follow the F1 as well so i'm used to wondering into the lounge room at 2am to watch sports.

I began following football in general recently - the first match I ever saw was the second leg of the Australia-Uruguay qualifier for the Germany world cup. Mum force fed me all the juicy details (Uruguay trying to move the game time/date, players being spat on etc... nothing new to football, but new to me), she sat me down and put her hands on my shoulders to stop me from leaving when sports was on the tv. It was an amazing match to watch and from that moment on I was hooked. Started following the local team which I was lucky enough to see in its first year, and got involved enough to play in my own team. Still the off season is long enough to fit another season in between and as hard as I try I can't get into Rugby. So I needed another team to follow, and since mum got me into football, it was only fair I asked her what other teams she followed - Chelsea.

Hi everyone, I'm an Aussie chick who is trying to take more of an interest in this team. Normally I just keep tabs on results but the time has come to follow the team more closely. Usually I just follow the A-league (laugh all you like, I love it ) but I've finally gotten pay tv so I can actually watch matches but am at a huge loss for information about Chelsea - my flatmate is a ManU fan and he is becoming unbearable. Looking forward to knocking him off his perch.
