Zhirkov was struggling with a calf injury in the first half. Seems he was taken off as a precaution.

Nervous times indeed.

 
Cech is keeping us in this game...I am afraid that the likes of Obi and Paulo will make that stupid tackle at the wrong time.....we have let Wolves back in this....

 
Saved by Cech again after dreadful defending by JT.

Our back four are having a mare however it has to be said that everyone in front of them aren't exactly helping. We are holding onto possession for about as much time as Ben Johnson holds onto Olympic golds.

 
Drogba has had a brill game today....defending, midfield and in attack......a far different player than last year.

 
Very good win for the boys today. Once again Drogba and Cech the men of the hour. Role on Inter Milan! :blink:

 
Shocking match, but thank god we didn't screw up like we always do when Man U give us a chance. Didi and Cech were immense, Ballack was allright, everyone else was dire.

Ho hum, 2-0, 3 points, 4 clear of Manure. Good times.

 
The best said about that is 3pts. Cech and Drogs turned up not sure what the rest did 90 mins.

 
i spent most of the first half trying to find a working stream but what i saw of the second half wasn't anywhere near as bad some people have made out. wolves gave us a couple of minor scares but we should have expected that. in the end it was our quality that won us the game and i wouldn't have been at all surprised if we'd have gone on to score a third. and remember this was without frank lampard and ashley cole,

not that i'd have been too fussed if we'd have scraped a lucky win. man u losing at everton makes this a massive 3 points, and puts us 4 points clear at the top. previously when the mancs have slipped up we've failed to take advantage .. now we're back to having a clear advantage at the top of the league with 11 games left ...
