Good news I feel, but shockingly badly informed article.

Accordingly to Hughes, the fact that Stoch is the 'only' youth player to break into the first team shows that Arnesen hasn't done much to rejuvenate our youth programme. Nevermind the fact that he had to essentially create a youth set-up, not just improve one, never mind that Di Santo has also played this season and Mellis was on the bench recently, and nevermind that our Youth team made the Cup final last year.

Clearly huge advances have been made, and anyone with sense could see that building a strong set-up and bringing players through takes time, and by that I don't mean a couple of years.

Perhaps he will do some research next time. Still, good news about Frank.

I agree. And it's not like it's easy to get the most talented players in the world. At the moment I think alot of the biggest talents usually goes to Barcelona or ManU. But the more we win, the more attractive we will get (especially if we manage to keep a manager for more than a couple of seasons) and in the end we will get better talents. I'm not saying that our youngsters aren't talented, but they are no Messi or Aguero.

Speaking of those players, does anyone know how we're doing in south america? Are we trying to become popular there and do we have alot of scouts looking at players there? Because let's face it, they have some great talents there. Maybe it's time we have a pre season over there to establish ourselves?
