cassiya Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 After the no show for the Hull game, I was rather pissed off for having no football this weekend. After remembering this game we still could have played :o
geezer Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 The pitch was perfectly playable but apparently the approaches to the ground were 'dangerous'. Surely people have to accept that risk after all, you could get knocked down crossing the road but if you pay careful attention to what you and others are doing you should get to the other side of the road safely. The collective are paying the price for the one idiot who may have an accident and decide to sue the game even though the accident occurs no where near the ground. Maybe shops should start shutting under the same guise hey? The world has gone H&S mad (well Britain has anyway). Can anyone recall and American Football game being called off because of the weather? If they can accept the risk in a country where litigation is rife and far outweighs that of Britain surely we can do the same?
