Frankfurt website announced a friendly against Chelsea on August 1.

I've searched our website but there is no date let alone a ticket sale.

Does anyone know how to get a ticket for this match? And if so will it be based on the loyalty basis from last season?

You can buy tickets on the Frankfurt website but I really don't want to sit among the Frankfurt supporters.

At least this year the pre-season looks more sensible than it has in the recent years. Crystal Palace, Eintracht Frankfurt, HSV and Ajax. No insane traveling and all matches are in Europe against mostly decent opposition who are all getting ready for the coming season.

I'd assume that's largely because of the World Cup, Maksimov. We'd be doing a tour of the USA/Asia otherwise.

That's what I thought as well. I'm sure they'll be in Asia next year. They haven't been to Africa yet, but I don't think enhancing the Chelsea brand in Africa is a very high priority for the marketing guys as there's much more money to be made in Asia.
