Away Days

Eton Blue at the Chelsea Megastore

I'm not sure if any of you have seen this but its available on Youtube in several parts starting here:

The story follows a youth in Merseyside who befriends one of the top boys from Tranmere's firm the Pack in the late 70's. Their friendship is built through a common interest in music which allows the film to supply a quality soundtrack in the form of Ultravox (pre-Midge Ure, Magazine, New Order, Joy Division, The Cure, Echo and the Bunnymen etc.). I would describe it as a superior football hoolie film as it focuses on much more than the football side of things. That being said there are plenty of violent scenes involving the football gangs. Worth a watch especially if you are into the music of that era.
