credit where its due - early last season he used diamond, didn't really work (as lamps didn't like it), so switch to 433 & bingo - JT has won the double! - this year started good too, but teams soon exposed it so he has switched to 442 and thats working ok for now.........torres being the catalyst for that change

so what next? - look at mancini (if you can cope) - 451 every game, big oofing players or little middleweights (dejong) playing defensive stuff, hit on the break - going nowhere fast

arsene - yes plays fluid system and switches during the game (credit for that) but no 'spine' in theam

Mancu - yes also some changes, but generally 4411 and again plenty grunt players, tad of skill but grinding them out

spuds - arry changes a lot but prefers 4411 too and fits the players to that system

for me carlo now got it right - 442, but flex it dependent on the opposition to 433, or 451 if we need it

442 suits this squad but leaves JOM at risk and we could do with an out & out right winger - so maybe matt jarvis?
