Posted June 5, 201113 yr Anyone go to Ossie's testimonial? We went, and stood in The Shed. It was half empty that night. Sad considering Ossie was probably the best/most popular player pre Zola. A very 'out of form' George Best played. It was the only time I really took a hammering at football. By Chelsea supporters! I was with a small Whitton mob, and a much larger, and much harder Hounslow mob chased us all over the terraces, and then half way down the North End Road! Then we had to get home. I ended up on the night bus at Hounslow bus station, and walked home to Whitton, half expecting to be jumped by the Hounslow mob! Bad night for the Whitton mob! (Mob used jokingly)
