well the piece is statistical parroting of prozone, and for me i have to both agree with JM and the "unhappy players"

its pretty clear ballack isnt the top class midfield boss we hoped, and he does have a way to go to be THE michael ballack, but also you just gotta look at a players capabilities and know that, should he perform up to them, he will be the best man for that position...

The Michael Ballack we signed is just as good as the one who played for Bayern Munich, ditto for Shevchenko and AC Milan.

Saying that they aren't as good as we thought is silly. They are great players when you play to their strengths and in they strike the right balance with the other players.

We need to spend much less time pummelling Shevchenko in particular for struggling and more time asking why we aren't creating the right environment and tactics where he can succeed. And if it turns out he doesn't fit with the rest of team, then for gods sake, why did we sign them in the first place?.
