the shortsighted PFA chairman has made a good point on the inconsistencies of our 'beloved' FA! like our 'beloved FA' the PFA chairman has also shown similar traits in just picking parts of the events to suit their agendas. he conveniently (like the FA) overlooks the FACTS of who started it. he also states that JT and his like should also attend anti discrimination classes! i suggest that they should attend because they are making a mockery of REAL racism! this is nothing more than a playground spat!

Ok I tell you what. I'll give you an incident of real racism and I'll tell you how I dealt with it. Back in the '80s I was staying in lodgings. Nice enough family, from Derbyshire originally. There was another lodger, guy called Stuart, loved a game of darts. I remember one time, this Stuart guy came back from a darts match at some pub or club, absolutely seething. "I felt sick to my stomach", he said. "The other team had this effing jigaboo, fingers dripping with jewellery. Where did he get the money for that lot? Thieving black bar steward, I should have kicked the sh*t out of him. Bloody blacks, they're all w**kers"

Except he didn't say "blacks". He wasn't that polite.

So I told the feller: "You pal are full of sh*t. I'd love to see you go somewhere like Harlesden Community Centre mouthing off like that. You wouldn't last five seconds, and it would serve you right."

This guy shut his trap and sank further into his chair. He hated me from that day on. And you know what, I couldn't give a toss. Remember this was back in the '80s when real racism was far more prevalent, far more of real problem than it is nowadays. I tell you this not to look big or clever, not even to prove that I'm no racist, but in an effort to demonstrate the difference between real racism and a glorified playground squabble.
