looking at some of the post there are quite differing views but as someone mentioned he plays for France with some pretty quick players as 1st choice! quite surprise that only 1 person has mentioned give youth a chance! especially since that 'youth' has started to play for England seniors!

a lot of very good managers have gone and he is still there. i maybe wrong but don't we have good scouts all over the world and in all probabilities even people on here will be able to identify the potential especially with the expertise going at the bridge. the way i see it conte is the manager and he will express which players he wants and it is upto the people behind the scenes to get on with it and not the other way round. he took a long look at victor moses who was already at the club and if he expresses concern about chalobah, ake and loftus-cheek leaving then we should be worried.

wtf is wrong with some people? all i've said is that elemano wants lukaku and that conte favours morato! at the end of the day it isn't elmano's head on the block! i mean he has been at it for so long and it hasn't escape anyone's notice that we have had many world class managers getting the sack while he remains in a job! are some saying we should not trust conte's judgement who is about to do a double? ok maybe my views are bias against elemano but over the years it has always been the manager who runs the team who has the final say. if his views are not in favour with a 'scout' who does not run the first 11 then tell me that there will be no tension because over the years we've all seen it!

I'll probably get shot down by people for writing this but i have a terrible feeling that conte is about to go the same way as our 9 previous managers! It may be nothing but it has been reported that conte want's morato and emelano wants lukaku. If this is the case then tensions will slowly erode the relationship that has been built up by conte over this season. i might be wrong but this situation has deja vu written all over it!

my god! having a butcher on the many views and opinions on here i have come to the view that some are forgetting the very basic about supporting the club! through the good and bad times? sure there are areas that need's to be addressed and i would rather have a roman abramovich doing it warts and all! probably because i experienced the fruitless late 70's and going onto boro sending us down! makes me think if some supporters were around then, then they wouldn't be like this!

we all know abramovich has no patience so people can forget any chances given to our youngsters! expect more expencive foreign crap! with only terry and perhaps mikel the job of integrating into the ethos of the club is decidely average!

lets hope he isn't dropped quickly if he has a so so gametime!
