never liked his appointment ..I believe he is the problem with Chelsea today...

The stupidity of this comment in my opinion is rousing. What's Emenalo got to do with the problem currently being faced in regards to the on-pitch sluggishness being displayed by well paid professionals with a manager rated top 3 in the world? Nepotism exists everywhere in the world and if as some suggest he is only here because of his friendship with the owner then it's not a crime. You can sack him if you don't like him but I guess you can't as you're not the boss. Some have criticised the way in which the flair players of the team have been either sent away or had their creativity stifled by Mourinho's desire to be functionally mechanical and effective rather than the aesthetically satisfying ball play most times displayed in the days of Benitez(I do not like him by the way) and fair play to that critique. It's a valid concern. Let's remember that Emenalo had a lot to do with the recruitment of those same flair players. In football sometimes you buy duds so don't expect a 100% success rate. They might be philosophically different but football is changing fast. Its more about our manager not adapting to the evolution of football and being stubborn(Something we've all at one point or another accused Wenger of) that's our biggest problem this season. We don't know better than the special or happy one in relation to bringing the trophies home but I believe a lot of us have a basic appreciation of football to know that the LB position is usually played by a LB though can be occupied by a versatile player if short of cover in the LB. We can sometimes have situations where a manager is forced to play players out of position out of necessity but where I begin to find my stomach churning is when I hear a manager make a proclamation that he knows his best RB is Ivanovic(A player so disgustingly poor at that position since last season and has only missed the starting line up due to being forced out by injury) more so when the versatile player covering the LB position is a RB who is a damn good RB with evidence to prove. I'm not in Mourinho out camp because whilst we may not achieve what we would like to this season, I can appreciate he has earned the right to at least try to change things. It's not any one clubs divine right to be successful every season and to be honest I find it a tad boring. It's what gives the excitement and fuels the passion of the game when one season a "usual" can fall off the radar thus allowing another club to take that spot and provide the excitement to its own fans. I'm sorry if it feels like I've rambled but the point to this post was to say please in our moment of confusion or discontent at CFC 2015 let's be on the side of commenting and criticising sensibly. Let's not do a Mourinho (how not to behave) as I saw somewhere in the boards

I think some people are clutching at straws, Emanalo is not the problem, i think it is more complicated.

We are going through a rough patch, and every time we lose a game it gets worse because the confidence gets less and less.

I dont want JM out but i do think he has not helped the situation at all.

His comments about some players in public, the Eva Carneiro situation, dropping JT who last year was immense, sticking with Brana even when its plain to see he needs dropping, sticking with Fabregas even though he needs to sit out a few games and maybe play Oscar, not playing Remy even though in pre season he was our best striker and Costa was overweight, not giving RLC a chance to prove himself even though he is good enough and Jose stated he would get a run of games, to ladt year playing the same 11 almost every game burning everyone out which was plain to see after xmas when our form dropped and by doing so also giving Schurrle no option but to leave.

His sale of Mata and De Bruyne made no sense.

His insistance on making flair players track back at the expense of their attacking ability, i am not saying Hazard is close to Messi but can you imagine if Jose insisted that Messi drop deep to help out the defence and leave him further away from the oppo goal...

I think Jose has kind of lost the plot and in the process some of the squad, i would not be surprised if results dont improve we see Emanalo actually as part of the bench, Roman might not want to sack Jose but might accept a resignation by putting someone to scrutinise his work even more

Wonder if you had this opinion 6 months ago.

Ditto Mourinho, no?

Edit: I would also add that many of us have not like Emenalo since the Wilkins sacking which he is highly suspected of being a part of.  That and how he got the job with little to no experience.

Same Emenalo that signed Mata, De Bruyne, Hazard, Oscar, Azpilicueta, Lukaku, Courtois before Mourinho?

How about when he failed to sign Rooney when it would of been the piece needed to win the title in Mourinhos first season?

What about the failed desperate panic bids for a CB this summer?

How about the flops and wasted money?  Marin, Cudraudo, Salah, Luis etc

I would point out that Hazard did not sign because of Emenalo, he signed because we won the CL.

According to rumours its actually more Emenalo than Mourinho why KDB is not here.

I would also point out, since we are on the KDB train of thought, it was likely Emenalo who thought it was a good idea to sell Matic for peanuts and then rebuy him for over 20million not even 2 seasons later.

Just wanted to help you fill in the picture more completely.  I really dont think recruiting players for one of the most competitive clubs in Europe, who also happen to pay some of the biggest salaries, is really that challenging.  Especially when you do so for a club thats buying young talent by the tonnage.

For example, I bet a guy with no experience could probably walk into the job and do alright..... just like Emenalo did.

Luis was a great buy ... superb player ... occasional erratic game accepted.

But Rambo has many more erratic games than good games and will always be a nailed on Jose type player/starter.

How do we know Jose didn't approve of both the Cud and Sal purchases which clearly backfired ???

The last few signings were clearly panic buys due to our piss poor start to the season down to Jose ... Panic buys rarely work out.

Although we will never know because Jose refuses to play them anyway ...

Jose clearly didn't fancy KDB so that was that ...

I accept that no one was impressed with Emen's appointment but I believe the current situation is more or less down to Jose driving the same 11 players into the ground and not integrating any other talent into the first Team ... which is clearly desperately needed now ...

If we say Emenalo is the problem then what about Marina Granovskaia as she happens to be the one who negotiate the deals?. Isn't she the one who failed to reach agreement for trasfer targets this summer? Let's be honest with ourselves we are barking at the wrong tree here. The fault lies with the coaching and playing staff.

Yes that black guy is our problem. Let's get rid of him and the team will magically start playing again for mourinho.

I wonder if you had the same feelings when he was signing all those great players for us.

Edit: oh so now not only did he have no hand in signing all those players he was actually responsible for them leaving. What an evil man. I'm guessing he's only at Chelsea because of PC gone mad right?

I blame that black security guard who hi fives the players when they enter the dressing rooms.

Lmao. Mate common don't lean towards that route. That isn't the reason why they want Emenalo sacked

Blaming Emenalo ?

Hmm, not for me. Cetainly agree with some of the comments about recent signings and sales but even if Jose doesnt have the players he wants he still should be able to manage what he has got out there, this is after all the current League champions we are talking about here...Hardly a ramshackle Sunday league team. Not that you can tell the difference at the moment...

Currently our players players performance level, and attitude is awful. The tactics and squad managerment are awful. These factors arent down to Emenalo event if he controls who comes in and out the club. Jose needs to manage what he has got, he is prob the highest paid manager in world football and he needs to do his job.

If Emenalo was responsible for the fiasco of the last summer transfer window then he should be sacked.

This is not to excuse the players and manager for current performances. They should be doing better. But performances are not entirely unrelated to the state of the current squad.

If Emenalo is in any way responsible for the current imbalance of the squad: an ageing back line, fullbacks being played out of position or deemed too inexperienced to start, an inadequate midfield, an over reliance on Hazard upfront and only really one striker of any note, currently struggling – then he needs to be replaced with someone who can foresee what needs to be done or who, at least, is in tune with the concerns and demands of the manager.

AFAIC, if Emenalo has personally overseen the sales of Luiz, Luis, Mata, De Bruyne and Lukaku while bringing in players of lesser quality then that should be a sacking offence on its own.

It's one thing to claim we got good value from player sales. It's something else if the overall effect is to totally weaken the depth and quality of the squad.

However, if Jose was complicit in our recent transfer debacles then he should take his share of responsibility too and not pass the buck on to Emenalo.

But if it comes down to a choice between Emenalo and Jose being made a scapegoat then I reckon Jose is more valuable to the long-term success of the club.
