Don’t matter who we have up front they struggle to stick the ball in the net... However, this time we scored twice and VMR, for me ruined the game. 2-2 would have been the right result, for me. Man Utd. got the rub of the green, yet again. Injuries have cost us this year, definitely and continue to do so. i think Spuds at home may be a draw... Still have faith but we need a bit of luck too.

With Kante as a starter in the PL we have won 5 drawn 3 lost 6 Without Kante we have won 7 drawn 1 lost 2. ————————————————————————————— These are the stats which confirms what I have been thinking for quite some time... Personally, Kante is no longer a starter for me and the stats seem to support this? Whether the positioning has been the reason or not Kante is no longer the world class player he once was.

Absolutely gutted for SFL... this result will affect him the most... I didn’t see this coming, tbh... I felt good about the youngsters and all beforehand. i guess this is our reality check. On reflection I think we should have known Zouma’s vulnerabilities. Plus, the Jorginho, Kovacic combo will never be the answer for me. Personally, I think we should start up front with Bats, because I just feel he’s more likely to convert a half chance than the others. I can see him pushing for a move now and I can’t blame him...

Kepa... a complete f**king, selfish w**ker... He completely impacted the ambiance of the ‘feel good factor’ during the closing minutes of the game. **MUST** have affected the players... Luiz (who tried to remonstrate with Kepa) missed his penalty = unusual. TEAM spirit destroyed in the final huddle, just B4 the penalties. Compare with City = chalk and cheese. BIG WILLIE would have been the better option. Kepa lets a very soft penalty in... Dear oh dear...

Great TEAM performance today... including Sari... Ruined by the Goal Keeper... WTF was he doing/thinking...

We look like a bunch of mostly midgets all over the field who just get bullied. Hence, zero penetration up front. It’s all over for Sari...

The only silver lining is that Liverpool fans must be gutted, hehe! The perfect result, lol... Football is so crazy that I can see us winning the League Cup Final 1-0 ... i think the Cup games coming up are all a welcome distraction. unfortunately, I can see us struggling against Spurs at home.

Needs to shake up the personnel... Hudson and Christensen should have started... Hudson is probably more determined to leave seeing that performance and feeling totally justified being overlooked, yet again... the new centre forward ain’t gonna make zero difference... The best times for travelling were the late 70s and 80s... during the terrace years... Chelsea used to flood many grounds and our numbers were phenomenal, at times... It was easy to double up going through the turnstiles... so there were always more in the ground than the official gate. i would guesstimate that Chelsea took near to or 10,000 plus to the likes of Man City, Pompey, Brighton, Sunderland cup, Arsenal best ever!, Leeds away... I’m confident that our turnouts at virtually all the Midlands clubs, at times were as good as it got. We had v. impressive numbers at Man Utd, Liverpool, Newcastle and the likes, at times. And we often flooded little grounds... Luton, Cambridge, Palace, Fulham, Charlton, etc. I’m confident that during those years we took more away 95% of the time than was ever reciprocated back at the Bridge. West Ham, Liverpool, Man Utd, Spurs, Arsenal after they won the FA cup had good turn outs back at the Bridge. i honestly think that we underestimate the numbers because the official attendances never seemed to reflect the actual numbers in the grounds, at times...
