  1. Brighton away (1983-84) Division 2 ... incredible turn out that day!
  2. Chelsea 5-0 Derby (August 1983) Division 2. The beginning of one of the very best years, both on & off the pitch ...
  3. Such a shame we couldn't simply have used Christensen and Ake ... and saved ourselves from this last minute.com panic buy outcome which is bound to be unsatisfactory.
  4. Chelsea 2-1 Burnley ... is my prediction. Another tight game due to leaky defence?
  5. How I remember the Bridge ...
  6. Prediction = Watford 0-3 Chelsea ... have a good feeling about this game. I went to a few Watford away games during the Terraces years and they were great days out ...
  7. After last years shenanigans our defensive starting line-up horrified me, to be honest ... However, we deservedly won this match
  8. Prediction = Chelsea 1-2 West Ham. Our defence will struggle, etc. However, I think we will bounce back and win our next Prem. fixture.
  9. First Kenedy and now Traore ... Another nail in the coffin for our talented youngsters ... Yet the likes of Cuadrado (a 100% total Prem flop, the last time I saw him play) stays ... Hmmm ... Plus, how many more chances are the likes of Ivan, Oscar, Matic, Remi, Mikel, etc. going to be given ...
  10. Another nail in the coffin for talented youngsters ... Bertrand Traoré’s loan move to Ajax is done ... WTF. The likes of Cuadrado (total Prem flop, the last time I saw him play) stays. Obviously, Conte doesn't know yet what we already know ... I guess he's gonna have to find out the hard way ...
  11. Agree ... throw Matic in there too. West Ham won't fear us, at all. I suspect this game will be a wake up call for Conte.
  12. Moses, Cuadrado, Pedro over Kenedy ... Conte's first mistake?
  13. LIVERPOOL ... We are not alone. I think most Clubs have long had enough of this lot ... WEST HAM TOTTENHAM
  14. He's another midget ... Personally, not totally convinced after one good season. I guess we will see ...
  15. I think Jose will mirror his second spell for us at man Utd. Jose will buy a few top players and bring initial, instant success ... Then the meltdown will commence. Continued summer transfer dealings may bring a longer spell of success. But it will end in tears ... Jose's final year here was shocking ... for all to see ... and man Utd forums are reflecting this ...
  16. I think Conte will get us in the top 6 ... top 3, no chance ... not with the current set of first team players. Hopefully, a squad overhaul commences ...
  17. 4-1 defeat ??? Guus will play the same team that lost at Sunderland ...
  18. Guus has now completely bottled it regarding playing the kids and has reverted back to more or less playing the exact same players that moved Jose on ... why?
  19. Guus giving Youth a chance in the few remaining games is the correct thing to do ... It was a totally pointless exercise chasing that unbeaten run ... Fair play to Guus ... I think he's done the right thing ... and has done OK overall ... Much more refreshing than Jose it's sad to say ...
  20. If it's down to this game to decide who wins the Prem, Spurs or the Foxes and we don't *roll over* and let them win I will be "f**king furious" ... FFS our team need to show total professionalism, do the right thing and let the Foxes win ... JT knows how much Tottenham not winning the Prem means to us and should be Captain, on crutches, if necessary ... JT would score a couple of own goals just to make sure ... Captain, Leader, Legend ...
  21. 35 million for a 27 year old ... hmmm. Plus, he's not that tall. The Premiership is a lot tougher than the Italian league, much more physical and full of bullies, as Cuadrado found out ... Not convinced ... hopefully I'm wrong ...
  22. Starting XI: Courtois; Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, Miazga, Baba; Mikel, Fabregas; Pedro, Loftus-Cheek, Kenedy; Remy Bench: Begovic, Jake Clarke-Salter, Matic, Oscar, Traore, Pato, Falcao Fair play to Guus ... a good starting line-up = Miazga, Baba, Loftus-Cheek, Kenedy all given a chance and rightfully so. Nice to see Jake Clarke-Salter come on too ... Personally, I would have subbed Traore for Remy. Pato is not the future and is a poor, pointless signing, IMHO. How poor is the bench with Matic, Oscar, Pato, Falcao ... all hopelessly out of form, etc. and need shifting at the end of the season. This SHOULD be the theme in the few remaining games. Play the youngsters ...
  23. If Guus doesn't do the right thing and pick the youngsters for this meaningless match then all respect for him has gone, IMHO ... I hope he's not become obsessed with trying to protect this unbeaten run which has become totally pointless due to so many 'middle of the road' draws ... LC, Ken, Tra ... should all start and the tried and tested rested for the remaining few games.
  24. Leicester not bothered ... in fact, would definitely be pleased for them, esp. Ranieri. As long as it ain't Tottenham ...
  25. I couldn't see us beating PSG or Everton and I can't see us beating West Ham ... 1-1 draw for me. Guus has no excuse now not to play the youngsters ... But I'm not sure he wholeheartedly will ???
