Guest Sindre
Telegraph reports he will be the caretaker. Good choice? I think so.

Davey Baby
Good choice if true. Has an affinity with the club, the fans and the owner. Bottom line, it needs to be somebody like him to appease the fans. There's going to be a lot of emotion this weekend. Simeone in the summer is the only choice. The best manager in the world, by miles.
claytonblue
In all honesty as much he was ok last time; I don't support it. Its a shambolic situation for the club and I followed the club since 1969 and there have been plenty of downs. The players at the club need to look at themselves and the administration of the club. Especially Emelano who needs to be shown the door. Just look how many players are parked here there and everywhere across Europe and in the Leagues here. If it was me; I would look at all the contracted players and cut the squad back to no more than 21 professionals. For me Gus Hiddinks a decent chap but seriously its a bit like asking granddad to run the team there's no future in it. Sunderland and all the rest smell blood and we are in tail spin that we might very well not get out of. Jose deserved a gracious exit not termed as sacked; but if he's taken Rom for £40M good luck to him ; he'll be back to haunt us. Thanks Jose for all the memories. JM deserves his money and like you thanks the memories JM.

I would be ecstatic if we managed to appoint either of them. In all honesty the players we've got are probably best-suited to Ancelotti out of the managers who will [seemingly] be available in the summer, although I wouldn't blame him for a second (nor would I be surprised) if he told us to go f**k ourselves. DampSquib
First post you've even done that I agree with entirely. His posts are normally awful. This one wasn't much better. So much about proclaiming to support the club through thick and thin and now he wants to f**k off. He's welcome to.

I'm sick of this modern day bullsh*t from pampered millionaires.
enigma
can't so worse than playing an inconsistent ivanovic week in, week out, a rb at lb and playing out of form players, as well as neglecting perfectly good enough youth prospects. Bobbywoodhogan
If he's caretaker then it's better than Ramos. Long term we need the right man, kind of a shame Klopp isn't available anymore.
Cam
Meh. Don't care any more. If the players miraculously turn up now Jose is gone then i'm done for a while. It is hard not to feel disillusioned with football this season isn't it? Games this year have been torturous...and it's certainly not purely Mourinho. The players getting back to normal after he leaves may bring better results, but it will also leave a bitter, bitter taste in the mouth. And if they don't improve....I guess they literally became sh*t overnight....which would both be depressing, yet somehow a fraction more palatable. I don't think simeone would struggle to get his tactics across to the players, most of our squad can probably understand spanish and I'm sure it wouldnt take him long to improve his English. CFCCAN
The players don't need to be cheered or applauded on Saturday....especially if they put in a world class performance....a clear case of player power being out of control. I hope Roman reads them the riot act and has a f**king good clear out in January and the Summer.

We're on the verge of relegation at the moment and I'm still here aren't I? But if the players wearing the shirt care so little that they get our best manager ever sacked, not putting in the effort required, not even caring that we are a laughing stock or about how the fans feel, what's the point? PloKoon13
Trust me, after the Leicester game at the end of the season (or possibly the FA Cup Final) we'll all be singing "Juande Ramos, we want you to stay".

DELBY
The obvious choice for me to step in as a caretaker role. As for a permanent manager I'm still struggling to think who could come in and take us on long term.
