I expect a slow start, dropping points we shouldn't, then things start to improve, then around the new year something big happens to trash the season, like the manager leaves, the ownership goes through something big which disrupts everything, or some big drama. Then everything spirals.

We're a football club, not a nursery. How many kids who dream of playing for the club, who'd give anything to see that dream achieved, are tossed out of the academy spaces because they're not quite good enough? Why give special treatment to someone who can't even knuckle down and take things seriously?

I mean, has anyone from the club ever said anything about this "deadline", or is it all based off people on twitter again?
