We should show some resolve and "stabliity" and back Antonio ! This Sarri geezer who is he and what has he ever done ? Former banker ? Absolutely the worst appointment ever in my view ! One of my favourite Chelsea players of ALL time. Which one of us did not try to emulate "the Cat" when we played in goal as kids ?. I know I did and he made you actually want to be a keeper when all your mates wanted to be up front shooting for goal. He made keeping look exciting. I have never met Peter Bonetti but you just know that he is great guy who would give everyone his time if you were in his company. When you look at some of the great keepers over the past 40 years or so Peter was making some of the same spectacular athletic saves on wet mud laden afternoons back then and making it look equally effortless. I want to salute Peter Bonetti a hero; a legend a true Blue great and to let him know that he and those close to him are in the thoughts of the Chelsea fans and willing him on and wishing him well just like we always did. Unaware of this I was only sat watching him on a MOTD rerun of Villa 2 Chelsea 6 in 1966 on BT a couple of nights ago. Marvelling at some of the greats in that team including Peter; five goal Bobby Tambling; Ossie; Chopper; Hollins et al. Wonderful images reminding me of where I came in as kid supporting Chelsea "up North" when all my mates were Man Utd or Leeds fans. Wonderful memories indeed.

That does need addressing and if I was Conte that would be a stipulation of my agreeing to take the job on. Emelano needs pointing through the door marked EXIT sharpish !

You want to welcome him and think this is the start of successful tine for the club. But we all know a mangerial appointment at Chelsea is about as routine as bringing the next ground steward (no disrespect). Chelsea normally do fine under Italian stewardship Vialli; Ranieri; Ancelloti; DiMatteo (ok Swiss) and of course the Italian player influence notably Zola ! But if Italy have an absolute pants Euro 2016; and their footballs poor and its an early exit. Will the knives be out before we start ?. He needs time as well as backing; and everyone knows you do not get that. High time we appointed a manager and showed some conviction welcome to the house of fun Mr Conte.

Whilst its your opinion; I cannot for the life of me see how this is sensible business versus giving one of our own the chance to show why we have brought him through the youth ranks - Patrick Bamford; just when are we going to trust our young players v dragging has been players like Pato half way across the world just to show us he's all washed up. In my opinion a poor decision by the inept decision makers sloshing around in this club.

Just another terrible signing; what does he add ? arrives unfit and with quote "off field problems", why don't we just give Patrick Bamford a chance rather than throw away wads of cash on this has been for 6mths. He is absolutely not here to benefit Chelsea FC.

What the hell is wrong with those running this club? No planning no strategy no bleeding idea. The financial largese is staggering and frankly obscene. Another useless player out the door Dilabodge-up! (seriously £3m for 1min on the pitch and his wages ?) its sickening..only for another useless;past his sell by date player Pato; to come in through the door. Emelano strikes again? and if not whos making these financially and stragically illiterate decisions ?.Honestly I would rather go down playing our young players. Likes of Langley; Finnieston; Walker; Maybank ;Wilkins et al would never have got a look in had this ludicrous administration been around back then!

Accepting what you say; why wouldn't you just give Patrick Bamford a chance and sign say Charlie Austin both of whom understand the English game. Rather than sign this fella who is reported as having off field and fitness issues over a period. Another useless signing; would we have signed him were it not for the mess we find ourselves in; I think not. I would not have said this; but surely Berahino would be a better bet than this should have been.

In all honesty as much he was ok last time; I don't support it. Its a shambolic situation for the club and I followed the club since 1969 and there have been plenty of downs. The players at the club need to look at themselves and the administration of the club. Especially Emelano who needs to be shown the door. Just look how many players are parked here there and everywhere across Europe and in the Leagues here. If it was me; I would look at all the contracted players and cut the squad back to no more than 21 professionals. For me Gus Hiddinks a decent chap but seriously its a bit like asking granddad to run the team there's no future in it. Sunderland and all the rest smell blood and we are in tail spin that we might very well not get out of. Jose deserved a gracious exit not termed as sacked; but if he's taken Rom for £40M good luck to him ; he'll be back to haunt us. Thanks Jose for all the memories.

A comprehensive appraisal TBB; but I would not cut Jose loose, because that very well might send us into a tail spin. Last night seriously how good were Leicester ?; they attack as a unit and rely on Mahrez and Vardy to get defenders all in a lather. Dave could and should have dealt with the Mahrez strike; force him on to his right and the through pass to Vardy everyone is just standing still !. We had at least 70% of the possession much of the game; yet could do nothing with it; sideways; backwards and start again was what it amounted to. Oscar got me; was he even on the pitch ?; Hazard did Vardy's brush past really do that much damage he had to limp off ?. Costa never in the right place although he battled and Zouma more like Bambi on ice when the ball came near him. We looked better when Ivan went to centre back; Willian again the lone star; but running up blind alleys. It is so reminiscent of Dortmund last season; who were second bottom in the BLiga by the Christmas break. They recovered in the New Year to finish in a Europa League place and we can do the same. But we need some recruits in January. What's the situation with Patrick Bamford at Palace because we should recall him. He could be our Harry Kane; cannot be any less effective than Costa. If we were in the 1980's Bamford would have been leading the line for us; think Maybank; Langley; Finnestone. Why not trust the kid and put him in; alongside the likes of RLC and Kennedy. We need pace on the flanks and Moses would have added some of that but he's with the Hammers. Far far too many players out on loan who could be doing a job for us now. I firmly believe we need to stick with Jose; he has earned the right to see it through; into the second half of the season and see where we are. Emelano is the one who needs to be held to task over the recruitment of players and for me he goes and not before time. The last thing we need right now is to wake up and find Avram Grant or whoever ushered in temporarily and then we are in a relegation fight.
