I think we should buy a good striker in January, then change to an attacking 4-4-2. Something like this:

Midfield configuration can be shuffled depending on the opposition, so for weaker teams we can play attack-minded, but for tough games play Mikel, Lamps, Ramires or Moses in a more conventional 4-4-2. Mata, Oscar and Hazard can get a rest as they aren't all playing every match. Additional world class striker to play along side our current strikers, who rotate with fitness / form. Torres to be sold at end of season if he still can't up his game. Wide midfielders to give width, which will challenge the opposition in more ways, also giving players like Marin and Moses more game time. Not depending on a lone striker for something magical.

i have been thinking about formations which would suit our players. Looking at both Shakter , Juventus and Napoli , these teams play with a back three and wing backs . We have the players to try this and maybe we will see the best with David luiz with this system . Any thoughts

4-4-2 , 4-2-3-1 , 4-3-3 Whatever , there is no balans in this team , the gap between defense and offense is simply too big no matter what you play. Or JT and Lampard return or these type of players are bougth.
