More Wembley history to come.

On Sunday 5 August 2007, The FA Community Shield will return to Wembley for the first time in seven years.

Back then the match, still known as the Charity Shield, saw FA Cup winners Chelsea take on Premier League champions Manchester United.

Dutch duo Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Mario Melchiot scored either side of the break to give the Blues a 2-0 victory.

This year's match will kick-off at 3pm at the brand new Wembley Stadium.

Even stronger ties to Wembley for Chelsea as we can do another 'last/first' in the CS as well. icon_cool.gif
