c3blu
I dont know about anyone else but once again i'm filled with optimism with regards to the new season. I believe more succes to be on its way for the mighty blues. We have recruited they cover we lacked at times last year and although i dont know alot about Malouda the reports are he's going to be be an exceelent addition to our squad. Everybody seems to think Man U having won it last year and spent big in the summer are the team to beat, and that suits me down to the ground. Personally i think losing it last year will make us hungriar this season and i also agree with JM that if it was'nt for injuries we would still be champs now. The Prem seems to be awash with cash with even teams like Man City, West Ham, Pompey, Newcastle, Villa, Spurs all maiking signings and looking forward to what looks like one of the most exciting seasons for a long time. Man U, Liverpool and ourselves should battle it out for the title(if Rafa does'nt make a fight of it this term he should by rights be worried about his future). I think spurs have a chance of edging Arsenal out of 4th place(hope they do really,if Arsenal lose out on CL football for a few years the cost of paying for that stadium will start to pinch). Then you have a number of teams like the ones mentioned above(plus possibly Blackburn/Everton) who will be looking for a Uefa cup league finish and good domestic cup runs. I think Bolton will miss big Sam, Reading will suffer from second season syndrome, much like Wigan who without Paul Jewell at the helm and Dave Whelans cash drying up could also struggle. Fulham will have another tough season. Mid-table mediocrity for Borough, The teams that come up will worry only about staying up and consolidating their Prem status. Hopefully we will only have to worry about the top end of the table so here's our i think it will finish up. Prem: Chelsea Man U Liverpool Oh and while were at it, the CL and both cups
