I only ever went on Hickeys coach once, with a mate. Neil Harris. Only 16 at the time. Derby away. 4th Feb 1978. Game got postponed, so we went to Coventry-Liverpool. We went straight in the Coventry end. I remember Hickey saying to us " Just keep with us", maybe because we were first timers. Somebody clouted a Coventry bloke. The OB led us up the away end, where I remember it was divided in Two. Liverpool One half, and all the teams whose games were called off that day in the other. Got outside, and these Coventry lads decided to throw rocks at the coach. Drove back to London in a coach with smashed and broken windows. Got dropped off near Victoria, and decided we would go back on the train. I don't remember who was on the coach, names wise. My memory has always been bad.
