Apparently we had a £50k a week (£5mil a year) packet available for him, with a 1 year initial deal, with a year extension there for him (in case we get relegated I guess). Pearson was on the radio earlier today and said that there has been no new movement in the deal, but is still hopeful of the deal. Wouldn't be surprised if he joins at the back end of next week, if another bigger club doesn't come in for him. Either way, I don't think we will be massively down about it if it didn't go through, we have a good core of a club, just need a few more additions. We can all keep our fingers crossed!! (Watch us sign him overnight now :o)

All talk still, it's fairly frustrating, either he wants to join, or agents causing fuss over something to get a bigger deal elsewhere. Situation with the French defender Fanni as well, apparently he was meant to be signing, now that's gone cold in the water. Need some young blood who wants to play for the club, not to just get a pay check at the end of the month. Need to recruit sharpish though, quite a few injuries in key areas.

Another Leicester fan here joining in the discussions; I'm amazed at how good the Chelsea team is looking! So much power and depth to the squad, can't see anything other than Chelsea winning the title this year, along with another cup of some sort! I can only see a Chelsea win this weekend as well, just hope that it is damage limitation, and if you're winning at half time, you slow down a bit like you did Vs Burnley. I reckon Leicester will try either 5-4-1 or Keep it the same with 4-4-2. 5-4-1 Schmeichel De laet - Moore - Morgan - Wasilewski - Schlupp Knockaert - King - Hammond - Marhez Ulloa Hopefully the formation will be used to break play up and frustrate Chelsea, whilst putting crosses into Ulloa as often as possible with his areal threat. Still think i'll be a Chelsea win 2 - 0.
