Hi All,
Thank you for all of your fast replies! Very much appreciated.
Zola - that's absolutely brilliant, from what RichardCFC has said I will try Pat Nevins first and see.
Beerqueen, I'm so sorry to hear you lost your dad a few years ago, but what fantastic thing to do. Really lovely. If I find the right moment I will ask my dad if it's something he would like.
Tweeting JT, not a bad shout.
Big Figure - Thank you for your honesty. I do appreciate that asking about getting a signed shirt can just be a money making scheme/scam, god knows some people do stoop to even these lows. My story is however the truth, and should the time come when my dad passes and if the shirt isn't kept for sentimental value, then I can assure you any money from it's sale would be given to charity. It would only be right.
In regards to a free signed shirt, I'm not sure how it normally works but I'm more than happy to pay the cost of the shirt and delivery etc. That wasn't really the issue. Thanks again for all your help. Step two of my pursuit has now begun. I'll check back here periodically for any more tips. And if I don't speak to you all again, have a lovely Christmas! Best, Darren
