  1. It helps that you lot on here seem to be a decent bunch. Much more of a plesant read here than the usual sh*te you see on a lot of fan forums.
  2. United fan here. I was throwing the beers down at a daft rate yesterday, but from what I remember of the match I don't really have any complaints about the loss. United were probably the better team in my opinion, but Chelsea were fairly comfortable and stuck to the gamepaln well. I was surprised at the possession stats I saw, apparently we had 71% of it, but unlike recent weeks we mustn't have done all that much with it because I can't remember thinking Chelsea were under any real sustained pressure throughout the match. So yeah, no complaints or excuses. Injuries definitely made sure it would be an hard day for us, but that's not an excuse because when all is said and done I think Chelsea are the best team in the league for the time being, and of course the league table backs that up. Anyway, well played to chelsea and please make sure to do the same against Liverpool when you play them.!
  3. Good presser, Jose is the man. Some sh*t-house questions though, what's with that guy pressing him into naming the United squad?
  4. You never met a United supporter apart from Asians? Come on fella, lol. I'll be at the boozer later and it will be absolutely jam packed with United fans, as will almost every other pub in the city. Most of them being Manchester working class lads, born and bred. There have also been studies done which have shown that despite various Chinese whisper type anecdotes, United fans are in the majority in Manchester. I know some City fans, but many more United fans. I know United fans get generalised as glory hunting tossers, and there might be a few Londoners in the away end tomorrow (our away fans are great though, hardcore and loud as f**k, which i'm sure match-going Chelsea fans would admit) but that comes with being such a huge global brand. Our Manchetser based fans though (and some others) are good decent lads, just like the true fans of any other club.
  5. That really isn't true, not even close mate. I live in manchester and United are comfortably the most supported team here. City can't even fill their stadium on a Champions league night. When they were in League One, city had about ten or eleven fans, which since winning the league has probably risen to at least double that.
  6. Alright guys, another United fan here (respectfully) and from Manchester too...who'd have thought! I don't usually sign up to rival fan forums but you lot seem like a decent bunch so I'll give my two cents. I'd agree United fans are confident for the game, and probably rightly so after how we've been playing recently. I wouldn't say too confident though. Just short of 50% of users at Red Cafe think we'll win Saturday. You might think that's a lot, but believe me it's usually closer to 100%!! So we are confident but more cautious than usual I'd say. Personally, I think the league is already Chelsea's. We need to win to even dream about dreaming about winning it, but in the scheme of things I couldn't be unhappy with a draw. It is against Chelsea at your place afterall. As the other lads have said I'm worried about Hazard... he's class, but I also think we can cause problems at the other end. It's not just been long balls to Fellaini from us either, despite what some would have you believe. We've been playing some really nice football, and that little fella you guys gave us has been brilliant, with Asley Young equally as good, if not better (even I, as a United fan, can't believe I'm saying that!). I don't mind Chelsea though so if United aren't winning the league then as long as Liverpool and City (to a lesser extent) aren't winning it, I'll come and give the Chelsea players a guard of honour myself! I'll go for another 1-1. Though a win either way wouldn't surprise me.
