    We made an official bid of around £24m earlier in the window. A few days later United and City expressed an interest in Stones (no official bid made). Stones himself didn't think he would get a look in at city. Preferred option would be to play for Mourinho and second best would be United as he would likely walk straight into the starting 11. I think it will go through but it'll go through in the final days of the window
